.Rev. Brittany Powell, M. Div. (she/they) is a certified chaplain educator, ordained preacher, published writer and womanist theologian. A proud graduate of the Interdenominational Theological Center and Spelman College, she has a deep commitment to the spiritual health of the communities she serves and belongs to. With a lens of race, age, gender, sexual orientation, and class, she is committed to training the next generation of chaplains, clergy, and activists to address systemic oppression and the nuances of human experiences in the field of spiritual care.
