ACPE Accreditation Consultation Package
Overview
This consultation package is designed to offer an overview of the accreditation process. The goal is to guide healthcare institutions, faith-based organizations, and education centers through the process of obtaining or maintaining ACPE (Association for Clinical Pastoral Education) accreditation. The package provides structured support across self-study preparation, site visit readiness, program development, faculty training, and compliance monitoring. Services are modular and can be contracted individually or combined for end-to-end support.
Package Options
Essentials — Self-Study & Documentation Review
Purpose: Prepare a compliant, complete self-study submission aligned with ACPE Standards.
Deliverables:
Self-study template aligned to current ACPE Standards
Review and edit of up to one full self-study draft ( 60 pages to 100 pages)
Gap analysis report highlighting deficiencies and recommended corrective actions
Prioritized timeline for document completion
One 90-minute virtual review meeting with leadership
Timeline: 4–6 weeks
Ideal for: Programs with internal capacity to implement changes but needing documentation expertise.
2. Comprehensive — Full Accreditation Support
Purpose: End-to-end support from initial readiness assessment through post-site-visit follow-up.
Deliverables:
Initial readiness assessment and stakeholder interview (up to 3 hours)
Custom project plan with milestones mapped to ACPE deadlines
Full self-study drafting and iterative revisions (up to three drafts)
Policy and procedure development aligned to ACPE Standards (student selection, supervision, evaluation, grievance policy, record keeping)
Faculty/preceptor training session (up to 4 hours) on supervision models, assessment, learning contracts
Mock site visit (remote or on-site) including simulated interviews with stakeholders and written report
On-site visit support (optional): presence of consultant during the ACPE site visit (travel costs additional)
Post-site-visit response assistance and corrective action plan drafting
Up to six months of email/phone follow-up support
Timeline: 3–6 months (depending on program readiness) for the entire pre-accreditation process.
